Day-by-day itinerary
1
Day 1: SGR to Voi and into Tsavo
Take the SGR Madaraka Express to Voi (or drive from Nairobi or Mombasa). We meet you and head into Tsavo for lunch at your lodge and an afternoon game drive.

Day 2: Full day in Tsavo
In Tsavo East, drive to Aruba Dam and the Lugard Falls on the Galana River. Staying near Tsavo West, visit Mzima Springs, the Shetani lava flow and the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary.

Day 3: Extra day (3-night stays) optional
On 3-night Christmas and New Year stays, another full day of game drives, or a relaxed day watching the waterhole from your lodge.
4
Day 4: Back to Voi, Nairobi or the coast
Morning game drive and breakfast, then transfer to Voi station for the SGR to Nairobi, or on to Mombasa for a beach extension.
