Day-by-day itinerary
1
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli
Leave Nairobi in the morning and drive about 4–5 hours to Amboseli. Check in for lunch, then an afternoon game drive around the swamps as elephants come in to drink.

Day 2: Full day in Amboseli
Sunrise game drive for the clearest Kilimanjaro views, then explore Observation Hill and the Enkongo Narok swamp for elephants, buffalo, hippos and lions. Optional afternoon Maasai village visit.
3
Day 3: Extra day (3-night stays) optional
On 3-night Christmas and New Year stays, enjoy another day of morning and evening game drives with a relaxed afternoon at the lodge pool.
4
Day 4: Morning drive and return to Nairobi
A last early game drive, breakfast at the lodge, then the drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.

About 4 to 5 hours by road. We can also arrange a short flight from Wilson Airport.
The mountain is clearest at sunrise and late afternoon. Clouds usually cover it in the middle of the day, so plan early game drives.
