Rhino Tracking in Kenya

Track black rhino on foot with expert rangers from Saruni Rhino in Sera Conservancy, Samburu.

Sera Community Conservancy in northern Kenya was the first community-run sanctuary in East Africa to bring black rhino back to the area. Guests at Saruni Rhino go out with Samburu rangers to track rhino on foot, a rare and humbling encounter.

In Tsavo West, the fenced Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary is another chance to see black rhino on a game drive.

Tracking is on foot, so wear neutral colours and good shoes.
Follow the rangers’ instructions at all times.
