Hot-Air Balloon Safari in Kenya

A sunrise flight over the Masai Mara plains followed by a champagne bush breakfast.

Balloon safaris launch just before sunrise and drift for about an hour over the Masai Mara, giving you a view of the plains, the Mara River and the herds that you cannot get from a vehicle.

Flights land in the reserve and end with a bush breakfast before you are driven back into your game drive. Balloons are weather dependent and sell out over Christmas, so book it together with your safari.

Tips

  • Book early for Christmas and New Year dates.
  • Pick-up from your camp is usually around 5am.
  • Balloon flights are an optional extra, priced separately.
